Dr. Lee

Dr. Matthew Lee

I learned my Ph.D. in Counselor Education from Virginia Tech and have worked in various settings, including Fairfax County Public Schools and private schools, non-profit organizations, and private practice for the past 30 years. This breadth of experience has equipped me with the skills to address a wide range of issues and to support clients from all walks of life.

Being fully bilingual in English and Korean also allows me to provide culturally sensitive counseling services to a diverse clientele. I believe that empathy and cultural competence are crucial in building a trusting therapeutic relationship.

In my sessions, I will take the time to get to know you and understand your specific needs. My client-centered approach focuses on working through your challenges and building the skills you need to improve your mental well-being. Whether you are dealing with stress or anger management, self-esteem issues, parenting challenges, or navigating cultural identity, I am here to help.

My goal is to provide compassionate and personalized counseling services that empower you to lead a fulfilling life. I look forward to the opportunity to support you on your path to mental wellness and personal growth.
